I am a dedicated Non-Attorney Advocate and Educational Consultant working with families to support their children and their individualized needs. In addition, I do consultant work to empower educational professionals to serve their special education student populations better.
I hold my General Education and Special Education teaching certifications in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I have my M.Ed. (Masters in Education) and over a decade of experience working in and out of the classroom with students of all ages and diverse needs within the public school system. In addition to my professional career, I have a lifetime of experience being an advocate for myself.
When I was in third grade I was diagnosed with Dyslexia. I learned to become an advocate for myself at a very young age through the guidance of my family growing up, along with the support of tutors, educators, and those who instilled knowledge of educational consulting in my parents and me. Growing up in a close-knit Italian family with my mom, dad, and sister, my family always supported and believed in me.
This enabled me to graduate from Saint Joseph’s University (undergraduate school) and The College of New Jersey (graduate school) with high honors. Navigating the education system can be challenging, especially when you do not know the right questions to ask or you are not aware of the full extent of your rights.
Having my own experience has shaped me into the professional and individual I am today who will be able to provide excellent insight into your child’s individualized needs.
