Viel Advocacy & Consulting offers an array of services that are customized into a package for your family and child.

All of our services are aimed to create individualized educational advocacy and consulting for families, their children, and for school districts, coaches and educational professionals.

Advocacy

We provide advocacy services for families and students ranging from Preschool-12th Grade and Higher Education. Some of our services include:

  • Review and analyze IEPs

  • Review 504 Plans 

  • Develop letters and emails to correspond with Child Study Team (CST), administration, teachers, and other professionals

  • Observations of students across multiple settings (home, school, extracurricular activities)

  • Navigate and guide families through the special education system and procedures

  • Attend parent/teacher conferences, 504, IEP meetings, etc.

  • Develop and create IEP goals, objectives, accommodations and modifications

  • Assist you to find additional experts and resources to support your needs

Educational Consulting

We provide educational consulting services for students and their families. Some of our services include the following:

  • Consulting with families and students for their specific needs

  • Review and provide feedback on IEP and/or 504 plans to ensure all essential criteria are met 

  • Analyze and review student records, reports, and data

  • Review students’ school work and assessments 

  • Track student progress throughout the school year  

  • Conduct observations of students in the classroom and/or home setting to provide feedback, resources, materials, guidance, support, and advice to promote success

Additionally, we provide services for school districts, coaching, and educational professionals. Some of our services include:

  • Consulting with school districts on how to better meet the needs to their special education population and support staff

  • Training and consulting services within sports and extracurricular activities to better meet the needs of their population, especially in regard to special educational needs

Parent Coaching

We provide services to parents/guardians on how to support the needs of their children to allow them to be successful. Some of our services include:

  • Understanding your parental rights in education 

  • Create materials to support your child's individual learning needs

  • Learn how to embed executive functioning practices into your daily life

  • Bridge the gap between school and home

  • Support families who are Home Schooling (set up successful home schooling routines, create materials, learn how to utilize curriculum etc.)

  • Declutter/Organize home environment to increase productivity and success

  • Provide homework and test-taking strategies

Student Success Management

Many families want to be more on top of their child’s school progress, but they lack the time because LIFE HAPPENS and that is why we are here to help!

We customize a plan based on your child's needs and goals to empower families to stay on top of their child’s school progress.

This service is for general or special education students and their families that are looking to check in with their child's teacher on areas they can improve and work on while at home so their child can have optimal success while in the classroom.
